Client Background

The client is a biotech R&D institute from North America, developing a candidate small-molecule drug. They required a key chiral intermediate with strict stereochemical requirements for pre-clinical trials.

Challenge

The crude product contained mixed enantiomers. Traditional recrystallization failed to reach the required enantiomeric excess. The client needed efficient isomer separation, stable batch consistency and full chiral HPLC validation reports. Few suppliers could handle this purification difficulty.

Our Solution

Our R&D team screened chiral resolution conditions and adopted preparative chiral chromatography combined with optimized crystallization process. We adjusted solvent system and separation parameters to remove unwanted isomers. Every batch was verified by chiral HPLC before release.

Project Outcome

We supplied the target chiral intermediate with ee value ≥99.0%. Full analytical documents including chiral HPLC, COA and MS data were delivered. The material meets the client’s drug development specification.
